Four Stars

Ah, where to start.….

Friday

Well, we went to the Homecoming game, which we actually won (a surprise), and during the game Jake got all pissy at Megan and I, for some fairly unknown reason. I mean, we knew that he was upset about the dance and everything, but this came out of nowhere…

Anyway, after the game, we went to Natalie's "surprise" party at the new YAC and we weren't there for too long before Megan started getting *really* upset. I told her that I would take her home and she refused. She had the SATs in the morning, and she just seemed tired.

So I went to Natalie and asked her if it would be okay to take Megan home. She said it was fine. I went back to Megan and told her that I was taking her home. She finally agreed, said goodbye to everyone and we went out the car…

Once in the car, I tried to talk to her so I could find out what was bothering her, but I was getting *very* frustrated, and I was starting to yell. Then, Megan said "FUCK YOU!" and got out of the car after I had already started to go. I put the car in neutral and ran after her…

Outside, after a bit more yelling, we calmed down (don't we always) and concluded that she was just feeling overwhelmed.… by everything. Then we talked a little bit about her parents and I dropped her off at home…

I got back to the party, and about 10 minutes after I got there, Jake said he wanted to go. We decided to go to my house and watch a movie. We ended up watching BaseketBall and then Jake went home at about 2am or so.

Saturday

Megan called me around 12pm and we talked for a few minutes. She seemed *a lot* better after she had gotten some rest…

I picked her up at 6:30 for the dance, and she looked absolutely beautiful! After her parents took the customary pictures, we went to eat at the China Palace, where the food was pretty damn good!

We got to the dance a few minutes early, and came in the music hallway entrance, where we were, um, greeted by one of Fort Collins' finest, who told me that I couldn't come in this way. Then I presented him with my staff name badge, and after he *thoroughly* inspected it, we were on our way into the dance…

I don't exactly know how, but Megan and I were somehow volunteered to be actual chaperones for the dance, which was actually possible, because we're technically *both* staff. It wasn't that bad… the only thing we really had to do was sit by the mini-theatre doors for a half-hour — which was kinda cool because you get to hear many *interesting* conversations from people in the bathroom…

The dance itself was very good fun. The music, of course, sucked. But the rest of it was good, and we both had a really good time…

After the dance, we came back to my house and hung out for a while. It was a great evening.

Sunday

At about 1pm, I called Megan and she came over to my house. And after some gassing up of the car, we were off to Denver…

We spent the majority of the day walking on and around the 16TH Street Mall. It was a very nice day for walking, and we had fun window-shopping…

We went and had dinner at Cinzzetti's Italian Market Restaurant, and it was great. Then we came back home and watched a movie. Megan left the house at around 11pm or so…

It was truly a weekend from Heaven, and something we definitely needed, since the next two weeks are going to be *a bit* hectic.

Today

It was a Monday, which doesn't really say much. The great thing about Mondays is that they go *incredibly* fast…

I saw Megan at lunch and she told me that she may have to spend Christmas and/or New Year's in Chicago with her family.… Damn! It sucks, but there isn't anything I can really do about except to deal. I'll get over it. Don't worry… ;)

Our first *official* run-through was tonight. It didn't go too bad. Mandy is really beating herself up about her performance, though. I hope she starts feeling better.…

Anywho, that about does it for now. Later.
