Pudding and Chocolate Sauce

Fiddler was absolutely A M A Z I N G !

Megan and I went to the cast party afterwards and then we went back to my house and watched a movie…

It was strange.… when I went backstage during intermission, several people in the cast told me that they were so glad I was there. It made me feel really good for some reason. It's so strange how someone's simple words can make you feel better. Maybe I have this "I-should-be-an-asshole-just-because-I-can" mentality all wrong…

The Story of Ma-pey

[This was given to me by Megan; it's a story that our friend Natalie wrote. It has not been modified.]

Once upon a time in a deep dark jungle there lived the mighty warrior MA-PEY! (Pronounced Moppy—no connection at all—I swear!) He was a great warrior whose strength, courage and goodness knew no bounds. However, he did have one problem. He could not find a woman who was his equal. He had travelled his great kingdom in search of such a woman but failed miserably. He had courted all the beauties and the not-so-beauties (cough cough JENN cough cough JAMIE!) but could not find his true love. One day he heard of a warrior queen who lived to the north. He heard tales of her beauty and intelligence and was greatly impressed but he also heard of her fierceness and was turned on—I mean intimidated. Despite her ardent refusal of suitors, Ma-pey decided to pursue the elegant Queen May-gan (pronounced Megan—once again, a mere coincidence).

So he set off on his trusty steed to woo the Queen. However, the Gods were watching [insert dramatic music] and they knew the Queen and Ma-pey would need some help. So they sent the mischievious demon—I mean angel Na-at to "help." The Queen welcomed Ma-pey with a huge banquet but intended to send him on his way the next day. Fortunately for the both of them, Na-at slipped a magic truth potion into their drinks for them to realize that they were meant for each other. Now the reader may ask: "Why not a love potion?" But the Gods, in their infinite wisdom, knew that Ma-pey and May-gan only needed to realize the truth of their compatability. Na-at's work was finished and to keep this story PG, let's just say there was more finishing (heehee). Ma-pey and May-gan lived happily ever after after, joining their kingdoms to rule as one. Their children eventually took over the world, but that's another story…

Wasn't that Nice?
