Okay, since Wednesday I have been living at the Lincoln Center during the CCTC Festival 2002. To translate, I've been seeing many wonderful plays, meeting great new people from all over the state, attending workshops, and having a great time! As I told Megan via e-mail last night:
So, I took "Post-Modern/Contemporary Stage Fighting" today at 10am… and it
burned my upper-legs extremely! Also, as the "final", I fought with BRUCE!
Good God, I thought I was going to die!!! Our "final" was two people, one is
trying to get to a wall (or a curtain, for our purposes) which is about 50
feet away. The other, naturally, is trying to stop them from reaching that
point. 60 seconds. DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO STOP THE PERSON FROM REACHING THE
CURTAIN. "GO."The cool part was: when I was the one trying to get to the wall, I got
there; when Bruce tried, I stopped him!**GRINS OBNOXIOUSLY**
Man, this has really been a good time. Our show, "Heart's Desire" went pretty well… a few things went strange, but since the piece was so strange to begin with, nobody noticed!
Hmm… what else has been going on in my world that I can tell all you wonderful readers about?
I've been hired on by Wing Interactive and OpenStage Theatre to collaborate with Todd Hoven and Ambrose Ferber on the OST website, located at www.openstage.com. The re-design/re-structure of the site will coincide with the forthcoming 2002–2003 season, in which OST will celebrate it's 30th Anniversary. Go me!
Also, I will be writing a bi-weekly column on Independent Film on Kevin Smith's newly-launched Movie Poop Shoot. Look for the first column on July 17th!
Wow, things are getting busy. As all of this is happening, I am continuing to manage tromamovies.com and "Tromaville On Tour", so please forgive me if posts here are sparsealthough, it's been that way for a while, hasn't it?
