It is a time for renewal. And as you have no doubt guessed by now, The Smil­ing Peanut is just that. Some­thing new. (It also hap­pens to be the name of my newly-formed pro­duc­tion com­pany, but that's a total coin­ci­dence, and I'll thank you for pay­ing no atten­tion to it.)

I needed a change. I needed to take a break from the inter­net bab­bling that became sim­ply noth­ing more than bitch­ing about Megan and all of that. It had a bad stigma attached to it. Plus, hav­ing a name like chrislanphear.com just didn't make any sense once more peo­ple started writ­ing on the site. Hope­fully, this one'll stick for a while.

I'm back. Some of the authors from the for­mer are back, as well as some new ones. So sit back, relax and enjoy the light in the dark­ness: The Smil­ing Peanut.
