Venture

This entry marks what I think will be an interesting (at least to me) series of posts about what will signal a fairly large change in my life. For those of you who've been following along at home, I've been a webmonkey and swiss-army-knife guy for a low-budget film company for the past four years. Whether or not I'll still be doing this in the future remains to be seen and is a constant conversation, but regardless of what happens with that, I've decided that a change might just be good for me.

That said, I'm now a sales specialist for T-Mobile USA, the fourth largest mobile phone carrier in the US and the fastest growing carrier nationwide.

I've always been interested in how mobile technology works and this seems a way to become more involved in the industry. On top of that, this job marks my first venture into a scheduled, structured corporate environment in, well, several years. To be perfectly honest, I'm excited about the opportunity. And if all of the people I've spoken with are correct, then this is a great company to work for. (Something that's also become foreign to me in recent years.)

Communiques from the front lines are to follow. Watch this space, folks.
