Three exhausting days and nights in order to accomplish two objectives that, when looked upon at first, seemed rather simple.
- Design and implement a new site design, not necessarily to honor the upcoming "holiday"—but rather, in spite of it.
- Finally decide to try out WordPress, which meant migrating all of the site content, previously managed by b2.
Well, of the two, number one seemed to be easier to accomplish and was mostly done last night. The latter task, however, took forever due to the fact that the b2—>WordPress import script didn't work for much of anything, which led to having to import everything manually and then going into each entry and re-assigning categories. With over three hundred entries, my patience started to wane, well, yesterday.
Oh well. All done now. Running WordPress. We'll see how it goes.
Anyone like the design? I've been instructed to "keep this one a while." Dunno why. Anywho, you know the drill. Comment line forms at the left. Lemme know whatcha think, especially if you hate it.
(You better be happy, Geof.)
