O Holy Night
I don't really have much to say about Christmas this year. It's almost over, and as far as I'm concerned, that's a good thing. This last quarter of '06 has been less than favorable toward yours truly, and I can't wait to ring in 2007.
That said, I wish a happy $celebratory_holiday to each and every one of my friends and family, all over the world. And whether you see this or not, please know that even if I don't say it as often as I should, my life is better because you are in it. A prosperous holiday to all of you.
Here's a truly wonderful rendition of "O Holy Night," a musical Christmas tribute to the city of New Orleans as heard on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I've never seen the show, but this piece is absolutely beautiful.

R.I.P. James Brown
James Brown, the 'Godfather of Soul,' dies at 73 — It's a sad day for the music business. Hope you're getting funky wherever you are, sir. The world was better for having you. In Memoriam. (UPDATE: Music download fixed.)
BlackBerry versus BlackJack
RIM sues Samsung for trademark infringement — This is just stupid. Oh well. Guess RIM has to make up for that $650m they paid out earlier this year somehow.
Chop Shop
An interview with the fiercely independent boys who produced the Clerks 2 doc for Kevin Smith. I still can't believe I ever worked for this guy.
Michael Richards
Finally saw the Michael Richards debacle. Wow. His career is over.
