Part of the rea­son I haven't writ­ten on Ret­ro­specti­cus lately is that I feel it's become stale, and it's time for a change. Hence, the new One Evil Duckie. It's about time I started putting more things down here, and this is as good a rea­son as any.

This feels more fit­ting to me. It's actu­ally a reflec­tion of who I am, both in nick­name and oth­er­wise. Ret­ro­specti­cus never really seemed to fit; it was sim­ply my mak­ing use of a domain that would have oth­er­wise laid dor­mant until it expired. At this point, I'm not sure why I kept it for as long as I did. Heh, oh well.

For the first time, I'm also writ­ing some side­notes (Matt, I finally get the whole "asides" thing) on this site. We'll see how that goes.

I still need to put down my thoughts on 'con. That will be fun.
